Dr. Quiroz is a Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences and is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree at Brown University and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. She completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Quiroz has national and international recognition and is best known for her work in the field of 3D ultrasound of the pelvic floor. She is one of the leading scholars in the nation on this topic. She teaches numerous lectures and workshops at national and international conferences on the subject and last year she led an AUGS Webinar on the topic of utilization of pelvic floor ultrasound for the evaluation of pelvic floor disorders. From a scholarly performance, she has published over 55 peer-reviewed manuscripts in addition to review articles and book chapters.

Dr. Quiroz holds positions of national prominence in the field of FPMRS. She serves as assistant editor of the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Journal, which is the official journal of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS). Last year, she was elected to serve a three year term on the AUGS Board of Directors, where she also serves as Educational Council Chair. As Educational Chair, she oversees the tasks of 4 different AUGS Committees and serves as liaison with the committees and AUGS Board of Directors. She also serves as an examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology subspecialty exam for FPMRS. She is an expert in robotic, laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, and has a strong commitment the medical education of students, residents and fellows. She is currently the Division Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences.
