About Lacy Harville III

Lacy E. Harville III, MD, specializes in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery and has certification by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He completed his residency in General, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. His areas of interest include complex thoracic aortic reconstruction, all types of valve disease that affect the heart, arrhythmia surgery, including Cox-MAZE IV procedures and hybrid arrhythmia procedures, as well as coronary artery disease and the surgical correction of this problem.

Dr. Harville also has been a surgical advisor for the award-winning app Heart Pro III, which is used to help educate patients and their families, as well as students, in the anatomy of the cardiovascular system and its corrective procedures.
