About James Gregory

James R. Gregory, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health. His areas of interest include pediatric trauma, pediatric spinal deformity, and surgical management of neuromuscular syndromes.

Dr. Gregory earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas in 2009. He completed orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2014. A further specialization in pediatric orthopedics was accomplished by completing a fellowship in St. Louis, Missouri, where he trained at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital at Washington University and at Shriner’s Hospital for Children.

He established his medical practice with Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health in August of 2015. He serves as the medical director for the operating room at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, the pediatric orthopedics liaison to The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethany, OK and the pediatric orthopedics liaison to the Pediatric Trauma Operations and Performance Improvement Committee.

Dr. Gregory values patients and their families and tailors his management and care to each individual patients while taking into consideration the needs and goals of their families.
